DAY 3. Coulee Dam to Spokane. Today was an 86 mile ride and fairly easy recovery day. Feeling stronger every day as I averaged 18.8 miles today -- not too shabby for an ol man! Found myself with a couple of strong riders, one of them started the company precor (an elliptical biking co). So far, all the people I've met on this ride are amazing and motived people. Its very inspiring to be around that kind of energy. I hope that someday My son in law Jeff and daughter Nichole (both riders) will have a chance to do something like this as there are several married couples on this tour -- this is panning out to be the experience of a lifetime! .... although I miss all my grandkids back at home already .....
On another note, we've already raised another $1400 for JDRF since my ride started! Should be well over $17,000 now! Keep it comin baby!
